Disaster Relief

The Philippines is very much vulnerable to disasters affecting more than 5.5 million families or 26.1 million people and topping the list of countries with the most number of people killed by disasters. Most common disasters are fire, earthquake, flood, armed conflict and landslide. Compassion for Humanity is always ready to extend assistance to places where help is very much needed. We try our best to respond quickly with emergency aide and food distribution and at the same time coordinate with community leaders in order to meet their
urgent needs.

At present, we are gathering volunteers and resources in order to be able to extend assistance beyond just distribution of food and emergency aide. Through our willing and capable volunteers and sponsors, we are gearing towards assisting victims in transitioning from a relief approach to rebuilding approach where education, permanent housing, clean water and livelihoods are re-established, making for a sustainable community.
